Fenix ‘Nix’ Harper-Jones lives in northwestern France with her dogs, Albert and René, and a hostile goose named Edith Piaffer.

When she isn’t writing, Nix spends her time restoring an old, long-neglected farmhouse, initiating disastrous romances, and conducting site surveys for l'Institut National de Recherches Archéologiques Préventives. 

Nix has written many pseudonymous essays, opinion pieces, and poems in French and English. Slave of Atlantis is her first novel.
